Walnuts have been revered since ancient times as symbol of intellectuality, since their kernels resembles that of the human brain!  Walnuts improve reaction to stress and are a good source of protein, 

Pecans

Pecans have a rich buttery flavor.

 

Pecans are an excellent source of antioxidants, unsaturated fats and omega-6 fatty acids, good for reducing cholesterol, especially the bad category of LDl cholesterol.

Hazelnuts

Auntie's Personal Favorite:

 

Hazelnuts are sweet in taste and incredibly nutritious.

 

They are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and packed with numerous health promoting phyto-chemicals. Altogether, they help protect from diseases and cancers.

My Neice's Favorite:

 

When she told me she didn't like nuts in her brownies I thought...Impossible!  I used Hazelnut meal and she said it was the best brownie I ever made.

 

Hazelnut Meal/Flour is made from pure, ground hazelnuts. It is full of sweet, nutty flavor.
